I am a multi-faceted designer and qualitative researcher with over 20 years experience in diverse design thinking roles, conceptual development and product delivery experience.

I help customer-centered businesses understand their customers in ways that clarifies strategic tradeoffs, identifies differentiated product and service ideas, and aligns the way that business is delivered with the customer’s purpose. I obsess over the customer’s ‘why,’ psychographic market segments, and taking a holistic perspective.

I believe that in order to provide successful customer experiences in the future, businesses will need to be increasingly specific about their customer’s narratives and purpose. To do this, I leverage experience design, service design, speculative design, action science and applied anthropology to deliver insightful information about customers.

I love design, passive home design, large scale flower gardening/landscaping, color, cats, and speed puzzling.
